About Us Who are we and why "Wings of Praise"? Our names are Tom and Gail Bush. We are licensed ministers with Lighthouse Revival Center in Riverview, Florida. in the fine arts ministry. Tom plays the shofar during service and Gail leads the dance ministry team, Wings of Light. You can check out our home church website at www.lmin.org. We went to Israel in 1997 where Tom picked out his first shofar and was introduced to the Star of David Tambourine. Since Tom loves to work with wood he was fascinated with the idea of making the tambourines for praise and worship. A dear friend from Beit Tehila Congregation in Brandon, FL gave us a tambourine to look at. Tom then endeavored to make his first tambourine. He tried several different designs. We changed the way the ribbons were attached to the tambourine by using a gold cord since we felt it was more symbolic of the priestly garment and tried to use only colors as described in Exodus. We have now come to the conclusion, that we need to be more flexible to allow people to choose the colors that are pleasing to them and therefore allow you to custom order your tambourines at no extra cost to you. Together, Tom and Gail handcraft the items and garments carried by Wings of Praise in addition to various ministry work. In December, 2004 Gail directed the Christmas Musical Play, "The Perfect Gift" and for the third year in a row, "The Truth Shall Set You Free", an original drama presentation of the life and passion of Christ. Don't ask for a script because the narrators in this play totally share from their experiences and knowledge of the Word of God. We will be glad to share the concept! It is a very powerful way to help people understand who Jesus is and why He came to suffer and die for us! We are to become Wings of Praise in everything that we do. The Lord created us to worship Him. It is our desire to see the church allow the Glory of God to fill the earth as we learn to open our hearts, minds, souls, and bodies to worship Him in spirit and truth with everything we have and everything we do. We need to worship him not only with the words of our testimony, but with our tithes and offerings, and with our bodies which is our reasonable service. Romans 12:1 “I BESEECH you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” We bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the Lord! Let us learn not to be concerned with what other people think about what we do for the Lord, but be concerned what the Lord sees and thinks of us
